How to Quickly and Easily Turn Articles into Videos
I’ve been playing around with a new tool I discovered over the weekend called ArticleVideoRobot, which is designed to help you convert articles into videos and then post them on video sharing sites like YouTube. So far, it’s pretty cool!
It gives you 2 ways to turn articles into videos:
The first way is to copy and paste your article into a form. Then it takes you step-by-step thru the process of formatting the article into a video by:
- Breaking key points down into subheadings
- Adding voiceovers - either your own or using the computer generated voices provided
- Adding graphics - you can use the ones they provide or upload your own
- Adding background music - you can use the ones they provide or upload your own
- Adding background images or a solid background color
- Changing the fonts and font colors
- Setting the “tempo” (i.e. speed) of the video
I think this would also be a quick and easy way to produce video ads and video sales letters!

The second way is to import one of your articles from EzineArticles.com. To do this you simply enter the URL of one of your articles into the EzineArticles wizard and click the “Convert My Article To Video” button. Wait a moment while the video is being produced and then you are given the choice to view your video, edit your video or distribute your video.

Not too bad for a video I spent almost no time on, don’t you think?
After you’re done producing your video, you can download it in either AVI or SWF format, get the code to embed the video in your website or distribute it to over 17 video sharing websites.
Even tho’ I’m not crazy about distributing videos, mainly because it takes up so much of my time, ArticleVideoRobot makes it super quick and easy!
I think this tool works amazingly well out-of-the-box, however, the computer generated voiceovers leave a lot to be desired, so I plan to do my own voiceovers or just use background music for my article videos.
Also, the videos could run a bit more smoothly, which may just be a matter of hardware and bandwidth limitations.
I think with a little bit of practice, this will turn out to be a tool I’ll use weekly, if not daily to quickly convert articles, sales letters, and ads into videos!
